Membership

Since 1950, the La Jolla Town Council – a hands-on organization of volunteer citizens – has acted as a traditional American Town Hall for our community.  The Council’s mission is to be a unifying voice on behalf of the entire La Jolla community and to provide a liaison to the City of San Diego. The Council also acts as a forum to investigate, hold hearings, debate, reach consensus and solve issues of community concern.  Recent forum issues include the sea lions at the Cove, micromobility, vacation rentals in our neighborhoods, and homelessness in La Jolla.

We hope you will join/renew your membership with the Town Council to support our community. Memberships are our primary source of income.  We encourage you to make your voice heard at our monthly meetings on the second Thursday of each month at the La Jolla Recreation Center.  The Town Council is truly the unifying voice for all La Jolla - we stand ready to speak for La Jolla at every opportunity.
