The third event is in the Orange County portion of her district and will be on Medical Aid in Dying and Other End-of-Life Choices. This will be a public forum and resource fair on California’s End of Life Option Act. This will be on Thu, Aug 14 2025 from 3pm - 4:30pm at the Mission Viejo Senior Center. RSVP here

Third Annual Ending Street Homelessness Summit which is a solutions-driven forum featuring expert panels made up of local and state leaders who are focused on how California can reach functional zero for unsheltered homelessness. The Senator’s vision on homelessness is that if we want to make progress, we must act with urgency, expand our idea of what housing can look like, remove barriers to interim options, and hold every level of government accountable. This will be on Wed, Aug 13 2025, from 9am-12pm at UC San Diego. RSVP here 

Gun violence prevention film screening of "Run, Hide, Fight: Growing Up Under the Gun," followed by a panel discussion on gun violence prevention with the film host, the San Diego City Attorney, and an SDPD Captain. This will be on Tue, Aug 12 2025, from 6:30pm - 8pm at USD. RSVP here
